FILLERS / VOLUMISERS

What are fillers/volumisers. How do they work?

  • Biologically inert substance that provides volume or fills the space where ever injected and holds the shape or structure to achieve desirable results.
  • Safest and popular ones have the ingredient called HYALURONIC ACID
  • Depending on the H.A molecule cross linking , its Dalton; it is used to just hydrate, some to fill in and some to lift
  • Your aesthetic doctor chooses the filler best suited for you, depending on your aesthetic need and the plane of injection and the concern that needs to be addressed.
  • Single gram of HA can hold up multifold of water in its weight. So it keeps the skin hydrated, plump and healthy.
  • It also regulates that moisture within the skin cells so as to provide them with an optimum level of moisture at all times and to ensure the cells aren't drowned in
  • Scientific studies have shown that Hyaluronic Acid helps improve skin hydration and production of collagen, fight free radicals, maintain skin elasticity, and even has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help with wound healing.
  • If your exercise and subsequent weigh loss is keeping your skin dull, fillers are the best option to get the glow back naturally.
